Our territory here at la Vecchia Fornace-The Holiday House is rich of beautiful cities and ancient medieval villages that are amazing to be visited but also cities known all around the world for their fine wine production.
Among the cities that can boast a label with the unmistakable name we find Montalcino and its Nobile Brunello, but also its Red of Montalcino and the Saint Anchimo, both born from the highly prized Sangiovese.
Also around Siena we find another famous Red wine known all around the world: The Nobile of Montepulciano, a DOC wine vinified from an ancient clonal selection of the Sangiovese grape called Prugnolo Gentile.
Another equally spectacular village that owes much to the wine production of another precious Tuscan wine is San Gimignano and its wine is the Vernaccia. Last city but not least we want to recomand you is Greve in Chianti, so famous that you don't need a presentation from us. Its label boasts centuries-old productions of wine drunk and known throughout the world.
