Montepulciano is a village perched on top of a mountain close few km from Siena. It’s an ancient medieval city famous most of all for its production of the Red Nobile Wine drunk all over the world.
Recently in fact Montepulciano became a popular destination especially for Twilight fans, since the scenes of New Moon, one of the three chapters of the famous saga, were shot in the streets of this village.

But Montepulciano is famous mostly for the production of one of the most requested Italian wines in the world. The Red Nobile (as it’s been called) is a precious wine most wanted from all around the world.
